Hayden Panettiere admits she proposed celebration booze when she was 8-years-old.

"I was raisedItalian and you always had widely separated glasses of red booze during dinner timefrom about the age of eight. That's just what kids do in Italy. It wasn't ever something bad."

The 20-year-old actress, who turns twenty-one in August, says despite attack the bottle early, she's not unequivocally the large drinker.

"I have theoccasional splash - of course we do. we don't splash the lot, just the potion ofwine or champagne every now or then."
